Proboscis almost cylindrical, about as long as trunk. Ocular tubercle a tall conspicuous cone with eyes barely distinguishable. Palp with tiny eighth segment no longer than wide, shorter than 2 more distal segments. Legs very slender, almost glabrous, tarsus only slightly longer than propodus. Terminal claw very slender, as long or slightly longer than the propodus (Ref. 2153, p. 28). |

Known from Aleutian, offshore Alaskan region (Ref. 2117); Common on slopes and basins of Southeast Alaska in depths 914 to 3600 m; Western Aleutians known depth at least 882 (Ref. 2153, p. 28); off Southern Alaska in deeper waters at 2896 m based on occurrence record (Ref. 2157, p. 16). |
