Maximum standard length: 17.0 cm. Adults live in bottom mud or sand of marine habitats, juveniles in estuarine environments (Ref. 8). Juveniles inhabit seagrass community of Diplanthera wrightii. Adults may also be found in a lagoon (Ref. 106885).
