Definition of Term

primary homonym
(English) According to the Code, each of two or more identical species-group names established for different nominal taxa and originally combined with the same generic name. (See also: Code, nominal taxon, genus)
homonyme primaire
(French) Selon le Code, chacun de deux ou plus de deux noms du groupe-espèce identiques, établis pour des taxons nominaux différents et originellement associés au même nom de genre. (See also: Code, nominal taxon, genus)
homónimo primário
