Combination depth range: min from estimate, max from literature. Found from lower intertidal zone to a depth of 35 m in crevices in coral rubble and coral pavement outcrops and in basaltic rocks, where they live in pairs (Ref. 80376) and on hollow spines of fan clam, Pinna rugosa and feeds on algae growing on the surface of the clam (Ref. 80379).
