Collected mainly for its shell (Ref. 349). Depth range is based on occurrence in French Polynesia (Refs. 99597, 99598); to be replaced with a better reference. Usually inhabits under slabs and rocks, or in gullies and holes of the algal crests (Ref. 349).

Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
