Maximum depth from Ref. 106831. Outer shelf-upper bathyal species (Ref. 106069). Found on hard bottom (Ref. 106069) and exposed sandy beach (Ref. 84279). Ranellinae are generalist predators, feeding on echinoderms, ascidians and polychaetes (Ref. 87385)
